Events for December 13, 2018
A microcontroller is a small computer on a single integrated circuit. This technology is growing in sophistication while becoming increasingly inexpensive. Microcontrollers can be integrated into the K-12 curriculum, providing students unlimited possibility to interface code on the computer with the world around them. For as little as $15, students can gauge speed, create a moving robot, and transfer a message from one device to another using radio signals.
This workshop is one part guided discovery, one part group collaboration, and three parts fun. Join other likeminded educators in discovering a new piece of hardware while exploring integration into the K-12 classroom.Find out more »
