What More 1-on-1 Time? Try Flipping your Class!
November 5 @ 8:30 am - 11:30 am
Cost | Free
Event Description | Most teachers have said to a colleague or administrator, “if I only had more time with my students.” In a way, flipped learning can make that happen. Flipped learning, in its many diverse forms, does not “create” time, but makes the most of the time that you have with your students. It offers the opportunity to work one-to-one with every student, in every class, every day. If you have considered giving flipped learning a try, but do not know where to start, come join a conversation about a teacher’s journey in Flipped Learning. I will share my ups and downs, my go-to resources, two different methods of mastery learning and anything else you want to talk about before you take the leap. Bonus: Using a light board while recording videos.
This workshop will be facilitated by Doug Macek, a teacher at Montour High School
