The Ultimate Hub of Resources for End of the Year Engagement

PSSAs are over, its seems like Spring is here to stay……Now let’s have some fun!  During this workshop, we will take a deep dive into EVERFI’s FREE digital lessons and accompanying activities to keep students engaged, having fun, and continuing to discover new concepts.  Digital resources include the following programs that contain several mini-lessons to pick and choose from:

Vault – Understanding Money [Upper Elementary Teachers, Guidance Counselors]

Introduces financial concepts and vocabulary early in a child’s cognitive development. Vault immerses students in real-life financial scenarios that focus on skill building and responsible decision making, covering everything from saving to making a budget.

Summer Slugger [Grades 4th, 5th, & 6th]

School may be out, but learning doesn’t stop in the summer. Summer Slugger’s baseball-themed math and literacy lessons keep your students learning so that they (and you) can hit the ground running come fall.

MassMutual FutureSmart [Middle School Social Studies, Technology, Guidance, Math, Career Exploration]

Practicalities of daily financial decisions, and the payoffs of long-term planning. As the mayor of the town, students must weigh opportunity costs to delay instant gratification for long-term gain.

Venture-Entrepreneurial Expedition [High School Business, Social Studies, Guidance, Technology, CTE, Entrepreneurship]

Students start their own food truck business, and learn to write a business plan, hire a team, hone their pitch, and balance a budget in the process. Tacos anyone?

Hockey Scholar Math & Science [Upper Elementary, Middle School Science & Math]

Each lesson  focuses on the scientific and engineering practices while taking a behind the scenes look of STEM careers and STEM within sports.

Leaving the workshop, you will have access to an online library of lessons, access to data feedback, projects aligned to each lesson, and scholarship opportunities .  Time to collaborate with teachers and discuss implementation plans with your local EVERFI technology coach will be built in as well; bring lessons plans and class lists if you’d like!

Please bring your laptop or device.
