Scratch Advanced Topics (P.M.)

Event Description | For the seasoned Scratch developer, this session will delve into advanced concepts of this increasingly popular block-based coding language.  Participants will explore cloning, video sensing, experimental extensions, along with interfacing hardware with Scratch, including the Makey Makey, mBot, and more.

Background | Scratch is a free programming language and online community where you can create your own interactive stories, games, and animations. Scratch helps young people learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively — essential skills for life in the 21st century.

Scratch is a project of the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab. It is provided free of charge.

Skill Level | Intermediate (participants should have a general understanding of Scratch, as this session will jump directly into advanced concepts)
