Cost | Free!
Event Description |
Infuse the arts into STEAM! From conductive paint and ink to conductive tape, learn how to integrate basic circuitry to bring artwork to life. In this hands-on workshop, participants will have the opportunity to make interactive artwork, experimenting with blinking lights, beeping buzzers, and whirling motors.
Technologies that will be explored in this workshop include breadboards, squishy circuits, Makey Makey, Circuit Scribe, and conductive thread.
Who should attend? This workshop is appropriate for teachers of all content areas interested in infusing STEAM into the curriculum. Although the technologies explored in this workshop are ideal for the upper-elementary and middle school grades, content could be easily adapted for grades K-12.
