College and Career Readiness Resources at No Cost (EverFi)

Did you know that 52% of parents feel their students should have their own credit card while only 21% of students feel equipped with enough knowledge to understand credit appropriately? Financial literacy may not be top of mind for most young people, but the financial decisions they make today will have a long-term impact on their lives.
Through innovative online programs, EverFi provides these critical skills for students in elementary, middle, and high school at no cost.
In this session you will be introduced to EverFi’s standards aligned financial literacy resources to best fit your curriculum, learn how to implement in the classroom, and leave prepared and ready to start tomorrow! Vault – Understanding Money (Upper Elementary, grades 3-6)
Introduces financial concepts and vocabulary early in a child’s cognitive development. Vault immerses students in real-life financial scenarios that focus on skill building and responsible decision making, covering everything from saving to making a budget.
MassMutual FutureSmart (Middle, grades 6-8 )
Practicalities of daily financial decisions, and the payoffs of long-term planning. As the mayor of the town, students must weigh opportunity costs to delay instant gratification for long-term gain.
EverFi –Financial Literacy (High, grades 9-12)
Equips students with the foundational skills to be financially responsible adults, preparing them for college and career readiness. Students are able to apply their learning in safe, virtual environments to weigh the consequences of their choices and practice good decision-making.
